If the website is functioning properly, BUT MY COMPUTER IS HAVING GLITCHES/ISSUES, what can I do?
For the most common glitches in your system, follow these steps before trying again:
1) Clear cookies and cache
2) Log out of your MDC account
3) Close and reopen your browser
4) Login to your MDC account and try again.
Using Google Chrome as a default browser or an updated version of IExplorer or Firefox is a highly recommended. Using a Desktop/Laptop Computer opposed to a Smartphone, IPad or Tablet is highly recommended. However, if you are using a mobile device, we recommend using our apps as opposed to the browsers.

When using an iPhone, iPad or Tablet, we recommend that you keep it updated to the latest software for optimal performance.
What if multiple Challengers are using the same computer, is there anything specific we need to know to avoid glitches?
We highly recommend that Challengers that are signing up on the same computer must clear cookies and cache every time. Otherwise, you can use a different browser to avoid creating cookies.
I am pregnant and I still want to compete. What can I do?
You need to submit your initial and final weigh-in. Choose the Maintain option as you submit your initial weigh-in. You need to complete the minimum amount of points required. Once you submit your final weigh-in, send us an email letting us know of your pregnancy, so we can take this into consideration.
What does Tribute mean?
Tributes is another name for Challenger or Participant. It is in reference to "The Hunger Games"

What is a Contact Us form and why do I need to use one?
A Contact Us form is a form that you fill out when you have a request / question that you need answered. You can directly contact Customer Service by filling one out. You will find the Contact Us form in the top right corner of any page of our site.
How long does it take to receive a response after submitting a Contact Us form?
After submitting a Contact Us form, it will take no more than 24 hours to receive a response.
How many participants are allowed in a challenge?
There's no upper limit on the amount of Challenge participants. The more the merrier!
Is there an age requirement for the Challenge?
You must be 18 years or older to participate in a MeltDown Challenge.
How long can a Challenge last?
We recommend 6 weeks, but we offer 4, 8 and even up to 12 weeks as well.
What is the Total Pool?
The Total is the amount of every Challengers Ante combined into a Pool.
What is the Winner's Pool?
The Winner's Pool is half of the Total Pool. This amount will be distributed among all of the winners of the Challenge.
Where can I find when the Challenge starts and ends?
You will be able to find when the Challenge starts and ends in the top right corner as well as the green banner in the middle of the Main Challenge Wall after you login.
Do you offer any recipes or meal plan options?
We offer different recipes and meal plan options if you refer the Points Box on the right hand side of the Main Challenge Wall. Scroll down and find “Other Important Information” and you will see recipes and meal plan options.

A Coach is a room leader that is in place to motivate and inspire their team.

If you have been inspired by your Coach to become one yourself, talk to them for more information.

A Host is the person who has started a Challenge.

There is not a limit to how many Challengers you have on your team. The more the merrier!
One of my Challengers is inquiring about being a Coach of their own room, is this possible?

I am Coach, can I merge rooms with another Coach?
If you’d like to merge rooms with another Coach, you can do so. However, you will need to contact your Host or submit a request via Contact Us form to find out how to proceed.
If I merge rooms with another Coach, can we keep our separate accounts?
If you merge your room with another Coach, also referred to as co-coaching, you will only be able to have one account between the two of you. Otherwise, one of you will need to be a Challenger in the room. Please contact your Host or submit a Contact Us form to find out how to proceed.
I was supposed to be a Challenger, and ended up in my own room. What do I do?

I was supposed to be a Coach and I’m in another Coaches room. What do I do?

APP: I was invited to the Challenge and I use the mobile app. What do I do?
If you were invited to a Challenge, you must first enroll on a browser, then you will be able to successfully use the App.
Can I chat privately with other people in my challenge?
You absolutely can, we encourage any form of support. Just make sure to also post to the public Challenge Wall. This will motivate others to participate. You can either be an inspiration or you can seek for support when needed.
Where can I locate the Private Message area?
Coach: After logging in, click “Go to Team Room”, then click “Team Members List”. Once here, you can click on the “Send Private Message” below any Challenger.
Challenger: After logging in, click “Go to Team Room”, then click “Send Private Message” below your Coach’s picture on the left side.
What is a Zoom Meeting?
A Zoom Meeting is a webcam meeting using an integrated website for Coaches to be able to connect with their Challengers on a more personal level for you and your team!
How do I meet with my Coach on Zoom?
To meet with your Coach on Zoom, you will need to, first, download Zoom. To do this, go to Zoom.us and create an account. After doing so, your Coach will be able to schedule a meeting and after they post the meeting, you will be able to click on the link on the Team Wall in the Points Box to be taken to the Zoom meeting.
What’s the difference between a Main Challenge Wall Post and Team Wall Post?
On the Main Challenge Wall, when you post, the whole Hotel, including your Team, can see your comment. On the Team Wall, when you post, only your Team will be able to see it.
How do I reply to comments?
You will be able to reply to comments by clicking the reply button below the comment you wish to reply to, typing your message and then hit enter or return on your keyboard.
How do I see who replied / liked my comment?
When another Challenger replies / likes your comment, you will receive an email and a Notification. When you receive this, click on the link to take you to this comment.
Someone has been rude to me on the Challenge’s Wall, what do I do?
Please report that person right way at email@example.com. Be sure to include the Challenge name, the Challenger’s name and your name. We are staunch believers that being rude has no place with MeltDownChallenge.com.

Why is it hard to have someone answer the phone at your offices?
99% of MeltDownChallenge.com runs via programs. Since we are a web-based company, we prefer to receive all inquiries via email or support forms. If you call us, you will get a response via phone or email.
